Hiroe & Associates is proud to announce it is now certified as ISO 9001:2000 compliant organizations. The certification is accredited by the Japan Accreditation Board (JAB) and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
To become certified as ISO 9001:2000 compliant Hiroe & Associates underwent an one-year evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that elimination non-conformance to the quality management standard. The process culminated in a comprehensive three-day registration audit by SGS. After correction and closure of all non conformances, Hiroe & Associates received its ISO 9001:2000 certificate of registration on April 17, 2005.
The certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2000 recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our firm ensure consistent quality in the services and work product we provide our clients. With this certification, our clients can be confident that Hiroe & Associates is dedicated to maintaining the highest efficiency and responsiveness in achieving our ultimate goal – guaranteed client satisfaction.
Hiroe & Associates is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 for the following activities
- To act as agent on behalf of clients in all matters before the Japanese Patent Office;
- To communicate client needs and convey instructions to local attorneys in matters before foreign patent offices;
- To docket all appropriate actions in all client matters;
- To manage annuity payments for client matters as appropriate;
To perform patent, utility model, design, and trademark searches
